Noticed the food quality and patronage had dropped off the past few times I ate there.

Doesn't surprise me too much. It's been a few years since I have been there but of the few times I ate there, two of those visits were not so pleasant. One time I ordered a burger with apple wood bacon on it and the bacon was so hard, I broke a tooth. Another time the young man waiting on my wife and I took it upon himself to add a $4 tip to the debit card transaction after I had signed the receipt AND left a cash tip on the table. I went back after I noticed the discrepancy and they did refund the entire ticket. Manager said the guy had been fired for doing that multiple times. But with all that said, the food was usually decent. That location is a little difficult to get in and out of, especially during lunch rush.

Here's a link to their Facebook page. You have to scroll down to see the post about the closing.
I'm also including a screen grab of the note announcing the closing.

This is really ironic. A friend has a retiree's group he organized for our company's retirees.

They meet for lunch and their lunch locations keep closing. They have lost Barnhill's, Ryan's, O'Charleys, and Macaroni Grill so far. This will be the fifth lunch location to close!

Wonder if it will be demolished like Friday's or renovated like Macaroni Grill.......

As Jack alluded to above, the entire parcel housing the shopping center was sold in May for $13.8 million to a private ownership group based in Florida. Chili's didn't own the restaurant and was leasing the space from the property owner. Could be a combination of new ownership (new rental rates, perhaps) and a declining clientele that led to the closure. I didn't check the Jones Valley location, but the Madison restaurant is actually owned by the Chili's franchisee.

The Carl T. Jones Chilis is also leased by Chilis from the property owner

Twin Peaks - I gather it has some similarity to Hooters.

It's a "breastaurant" like Hooters, but I personally think the overall look & environment inside is a better experience. I've never been amazed by the food offered at Twin Peaks, but I would definitely go there just to catch a game and have some decent wings. Can't say the same for Hooters.
