Lubbock's metro numbers are very misleading. Currently there are only three counties that make up the official MSA. It should probably be five or six.

Lubbock is the largest city for 300 miles in any direction and as such has a trade territory of over one million.

Everything you say is right. I would also say Huntsville serves an area of around 1 million people when you include southern Tennessee and over towards the Florence and Shoals area.

I think it would work in Huntsville, it's just a matter of if the company wants to place one in the area. All of the restaurants already here don't seem to be having a problem. The population is growing in the area also, meaning people from other metro areas, possibly even areas that already have a cheesecake factory, growing the demand.

$2.33B in revenue with just 210 locations doesn't sound so horrible to me. Cheesecake Factory isn't for everyone, but I'll gladly welcome one to the area. There cheesecake offerings are always delicious.

Maybe Town Madison, or perhaps even more likely, MidCity.

Speaking of which ... is Dave and Buster's under construction yet?

Im not sure. I havent really heard about it. I think the support for it is split down the middle bc its a big box store. But most likely itll be something in the park of d&b coming soon. Im not really into that type of stuff but the alcohol selection is pretty cool. ( we vacation in panama city beach in the summer and its always voted as one of the places to eat amongst my friends)

Yes, don't know the opening date, but D&B and High Point are both well underway.

As well as REI, the high end outdoor store. REI's building is in front of High Point Climbing and Fitness and Dave and Buster's building is behind Steak and Shake.
