45 min. east of Huntsville...I know exactly where you live! And I understand. What are you still doing there, if you're 25?? Life's too short to stay where you're unhappy. Git goin,' boy!

You are entitled to your opinion that is what CD is all about. I don't think anyone here is going to dispute that living in a small town is for everyone. I live 20 minutes NE from H'ville in a small town and I love it, but it isn't for everyone.

The folks on the H'ville forum are great and while they may disagree they do it nicely.

I think Huntsville has grown out of that conservative stage, although it is still present. I think that Huntsvillians are little more open considering that fact that different people have moved here over the past years.

Default Possibly coming to Huntsville,....

I like most of what I've read so far on the area. I do have one question, though. I see where the rainfall is significantly above the national average. Does it tend to rain for longer periods day-wise or a little less frequently but in buckets when it does? I'm a golfer,...

It's a great area for golf. Lots of pleasant days. The rain comes mostly in big doses via thunderstorms that don't last too long.

The weather everywhere is plain crazy. I just talked to an online friend that is going to get to move to Decatur. It is looking like we mite get transferred to Pa instead. It is so cold there!
