I'm moving to HSV on July 2008 with my family (wife and two kids) and I'm going to work to Redstone Arsenal.
I have just selected the area that I want to rent the house: Madison (thanks to alla the peploe that give me news about bad areas in HSV in another thread).
I'm coming to HSV on May 2008 in advance in order to rent :
1) an apartement for one or two months, so in these two months I'll have the possiblity of have a look to many houses for a rent a house for three years long;
2) directly a house for three years long, if I'll try a good occasion, .
My request is easy:
May I have some advice and suggestion on "waht I have to see, what I have to check, what are the main thinks that a real estate agent usually don't show to the renter (but are important to know in advance form the point of view of the renter) and so on" in order to not have bad surprise when I'll sign the contract
