Yup--all these different ways of labeling that program is funny to me--it's TAG in BC, Canada and GT where we come from in VA--

Frankly, I found that the GT curriculum almost was non-existent by 8th grade other than acceleration in Science and Math. My daughter is slated for HS geometry in 9th grade with Trig etc/Algebra 2--she picked up her HS credit in 8th grade for Algebra 1.

As far as horseback riding goes. I run a stable in the trinity/moulton area (about 10-15 minutes from the mall in decatur). We give riding lessons to ages 6 to Adults as well as board horses and train. Our website is www.twinlakestable.com if you would like to check it out.

My DH drove from Madison to Decatur on Sunday and said it was an easy drive--commuting for your family should be no problem. He said Decature looked very beautiful.
