Not only did it pass the wind test, but also the 2x4 test that Texas Tech does. Also, it's no different from the square or retangle standing safe rooms that are built into closets that the other tornado shelter dealers offer. It's just a bit smaller that's all which makes it less expensive.

I'm thinking of ordering one of these after seeing your post and reading up on his website. I know these things are 42" in diameter, so I'm wondering what kidn of room these things really have? How many people have you gotten into yours? Would it be possible for my wife and kids and I to take a look at some point?
