Need Some Local Info Please, Huntsville Luxury Apts On Water?
I need to find some apartments in the huntsville area or there abouts. I really would love to live where I could see mountians and be on some type of large body of water. Any help would be appreciated. I really don't want to pay over 1000.00 per month if possible (less is better!).
Thanks guys!

I don't know where in Huntsville you are going to find all of these things:
1) Large Body of Water
2) Mountain View
The only "large body of water" is the Tennessee River and I don't know of any apartments that sit on it.
You might find something like this in Guntersville. There are small lakes and ponds around, but I don't know your definition of "large body of water".

Thanks! Will check into Guntersville.
I guess my definition of "large body of water" simply means to me that it is larger than a backyard pond. I have seen some real estate touted as being on a lake, when in fact it is a glorified pond.
Thanks you for your response and have a great day!

I haven't seen too many apts on or near the Lake in Guntersville either, although I believe there is a condo next to the water.

There are condo's/townhouses being built between Huntsville and Guntersville. The area is generally referred to as HoneyComb, I believe its on the same property as Sunshine Marina (or something like that). Its part of Lake Guntersville/Tennessee River. Also just a bit up the road from their their is a development going in at what used to be called Snug Harbor. I'm assuming these are going to be put up for sale rather than rentals, but I'm not sure.
These would probably fit the description of what your looking for though.

South of I565 around the 8 mile exit or so (sorry dont know the exit name ) there is a Colonial Properties that is on a bigger pond ( very small lake ).
This is SW Huntsville. If you map it you will see the water I am thinking about. I have recently moved into another of their properties in Madison. One of the nicer apartments that we found.
3 Bedroom is right at that or maybe $1100.

Glad you guys were able to visit Gville. It is a great town, especially if you like being close to or on the water. Hopefully you guys will find something there. Good luck.
BTW, if you get the chance to go back - you should try Top O the River restaurant on Val Monte Drive. Best seafood in Marshall County.
