I'm in Decatur, very near the wildlife refuge. Cats and small dogs are snacks and appetizers for coyotes. Can't count the number of cats and small dogs lost here to coyotes.

Here is some critter info.

Coyote's snacking on pets isn't common where I live. I live off of Hwy 24 in Trinity area. Neither is it where my MIL lives, behind the Super Wal-Mart in Moulton. Her house is surrounded by trees and pastures and about 15mins away from Bankhead Nat'l Forest.
We have plenty of fields and woods around my house as well.....I have heard a few coyotes, but never seen any. And none of my pets have went missing.
