No offense eh? Sometimes I should just avoid reading certain threads I guess, especially since I'm a redneck living in a ghetto part of town.

Dee, if you would quit letting your pants hang down below your behind, you might get a better education. Of course, laying off the illegally obtained cough syrup would also help. Yep, Deesonic and I are a couple of Westside roughnecks. Rachel, I advise you to stay west of the Parkway, South of Oakwood and North of Airport Road. The rest of town is WAY to rough for you. The kids in these parts of town are some real tough customers. They are just looking to give you a wicked indian burn and take your lunch money. They can see you coming a mile away. If you aren't all inked up and pierced, we Westsiders will definitely be looking to get all thuggish with you.

We moved to Huntsville from Long Beach CA to get away from the lost kids in the SOCAL school system that feel weak without someone to back them up (Gangs) although the schools in Huntsville were much better than CA we didnt stay long before moving to Marshall County, I work, shop and enjoy Huntsville but had our now graduated girls in the Arab school system. I was very pleased that we found Arab schools!
Moderator cut: .. Grissom High would be my choice. my daughters played sports and that school had the best class of kids that they played against.

The good news and the bad news:
Madison City Schools have the third lowest dropout rate in Alabama at 14%.
The bad news is Huntsville City Schools have a 46% rate and Madison County Schools have a 39% rate (not sure where they are on the list).

I just found this great aerial shot of Huntsville High School so I thought I'd post a link to it (too bad it is protected).

Grissom and Randolph
Grissom High School has wonderfull teachers, a competative and supportive learning environment and is convientantly located to many wonderful neighborhoods. One neighborhood, Marina Park (off of Ditto Marina Parkway) has a pool, clubhouse, walking trial conecting it to the Huntsville Greenway Trial System and is very close to the citys marina. Can't beat a day on the river followed by a dip in the pool and a babeque.
Not Bad

Not so much emphasis on spelling, punctuation and grammar, however. Looks like someone wants to sell some homes.

Plus, I believe barbecue is used as a verb when everyone in the South knows that it is a noun. The horror!

HeeHee...I'm pretty sure I've seen barbecue used as a noun, verb, adjective and adverb down here. It's quite the topic of conversation, you know.
