New China Buffet #3 has the best buffet in Huntsville it's located at 207 Jordan LN NW. It's a 'must eat' guilty pleasure when I'm in staying there!
Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries is a cool joint with tasty burgers and great fries. I ate at the Carl T. Jones location, but there is another one located on Enterprise Way NW.
Those are just a few of my favorite spots so far in Huntsville, but I'm still learning my way around and trying to get to know the city. I'd like to check out a nice seafood joint there soon and a place called Soul Burger.

After you have Soul Burger, you'll never go to Five Guys again.

Hubby and I tried Bandito Burrito and while it was different, we've had better Mexican at other places in town. I'd recommend El Coyote over Bandito Burrito.

Bandito isn't truly Mexican, more like fast food Tex-Mex. Did you have the green bean burrito? That got me hooked. Plus, I love that it is dirt cheap and a home grown, funky little hole in the wall place.

The service was great. The girl that waited on us was really nice. I got the combo burrito and thought while it had a good taste it was really dry. Shredded cheese inside was tasty, but maybe using the cheese sauce would make it tastier. I dunno...I did notice that they had quite a menu with different selections.

You are part of a scene when you visit Bandito. It is truly a cultural icon for Huntsville. Really great people and patrons. It is more of an experience than a restaurant. I concur with the Green Bean Burrito. Awesome. I always encourage people to frequent locally owned places. These places make Huntsville unique. Make sure to visit Miss Kathy at Soul Burger ASAP. Tell her you are visiting for the first time.

La Michoacana is the best Mexican I've had in Huntsville. It is right next to Shoney's, across from Toy's R Us on University. I got two recommendations on that place and finally went there a couple weeks ago, it was awesome.

We finally made it over to Viet Huong tonight. The entrees were excellent (shrimp with broken rice and seafood over egg noodles). The service was top notch. The Cha Gio (which I have always seen called spring rolls, but they called egg rolls) were too greasy and I didn't like the sauce they came with very much. The atmosphere is nothing great.
Overall, very good place and we will definitely return, but will try a different appetizer.
