Definitely an oversight on the part of whomever came up with the de-motivational poster.

Lincoln most definitely believed in God... but not necessarily in the same sense as most do today.

In all probability someone read this quote...

"The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma."
-Abe Lincoln

... and assumed Lincoln must have been an atheist. You can't often count on the public comments of political figures - they know their audience is mostly theist. But anyway, everyone seems to lumps Atheists, Agnostics, Humanists, Freethinkers and Deists together.

Thanks for posting that Charles, I now have something to do this weekend!

I suggest also to get involved in a charity that you care about. There are tons of them that are worthwhile. I am active in Habitat for Humanity, which I think is a fun way to utilize my building/design skills.
