Question Lumber in Huntsville

New to Huntsville and bought a house down to Zierdt road. Planning of do some home improvements. If you have any information about local wood supplies, please post, it will be very much appreciated. My first project is a TV stand, which needs a hardwood lumber width 19", length 78" and thickness 1.5". I've visited Home Depot and Lowes, but the widest lumber they have is 12".

Yowser! A 19" wide board may cup or warp significantly, and will cost a lot. There are places that can cut it for you, but unless you have some method of bracing it in about four spots, you might not be happy with the results. Besides that, aging is especially important with boards of that width. Have you considered butterflying (bookending) and/or a glue up? Matched grain looks good and equalizes out some of the stresses. Better yet, you can also have a much more dimensionally stable (and less expensive) surface by using a 3/4" AB plywood, ripping and doubling it, gluing the two layers, and veneering the edges or capping them with a 1x.
