Have not been yet, but understand there is a good size community in Ethridge, TN about an hour from Huntsville...

Gee, I was actually thinking of Mennonites and didn't realize there were old order Amish in TN but I guess it's a good state for it. It would be interesting to know how far they have spread in the U.S. I've never seen that encyclopedia you found with info - thanks!

Thanks, Keeper! I am not very forum savvy. I remember doing that once before and then forgot about it! Now that I've done it on the above posts I'll remember to make that a step after reading each one.

On our drive back to Hville from Bham, I looked for the billboard after we got to Cullman, but didn't see it. I must have spotted it south of Cullman the last time I was through the area. I'd google it and see if there was something in the Tuscumbia/Cullman area.

Good luck and welcome back.

Thanks for trying, dramamama. No worries. The info given is fine. We drove up that way over the weekend and didn't see it either, but we were looking at a lot of things. It was nice to be in the area and look around for sure. Wish I could say we found "IT" but not yet.
