Decatur Restaurants
I'll be in Decatur tomorrow for a seminar with a friend. Where would you recommend for a couple of gals to go for lunch, someplace with a good lunch menu and a nice ambiance?

They probably don't have Chippendales in Decatur, so try Big Bob Gibsons.
We may go there Sunday night.

Consider 'Hard Dock Cafe' on the Tennessee River (you'll drive past it if you take 565 / 20, it's in the marina north of the highway before you go over the old bridge into Decatur). Looks like a bait shop, serves burgers and crabcakes and beer and stuff, plenty of ambience...
Gibson's is a must-eat at some point in your life (sooner is better). Chicken and white sauce, mmm.

Near Delano Park. It looks like Gibson's is just down the street?

Yes, Gibson's is south on U.S. 31 (AKA Sixth Avenue). Curry's...yes, it's close by. Haven't been to it in years, though.

Well we ate at Gibson's. We both enjoyed it very much. I had the smoked turkey.
Thanks for all the responses!
