Default More implants than natives?

Just seems like there are tons more implants on the Huntsville forum than natives...........Is that true or paranoia?

Are the majority of posters on here giving info about Huntsville residents of less than 5-10 years?

It is a relocation forum, so I guess that wouldn't be unexpected. I visit the Colorado, Colorado Springs, Denver, California, Los Angeles, and Orange County forums and it is pretty much the same way on those forums too.

Probably because Huntsville is so small, it is very tame and not very dynamic when compared to those other forums.

Below are some examples:

Heading to UCLA to pursue my MBA, but the Mexicans...
Orange County, CA: Anus of the World
California Complaints......
Orange County: Depressingly BORING

I hate Temecula
Anyone else think LA is going down the toilet?
Please discuss immigration issues in the political forum (this was so intense it became a sticky)
L.A. Third World Country
How is the East Palo Alto area, is it safe to live?
Are you "living" or "struggling" here in Socal and why do you remain?
Areas with the least amount of gangs
California Bashing ... Enough Already!
Is Bakersfield that bad?
Appropriate reasons to leave California
The OC is racist!
How can you consider $500,000 to be "affordable housing"?

Mayor Villar's Office: English is for England
Why would you buy a home here in Ca?
Santa Ana? How bad is it?
LA is not the worst place as some claim

OC is so great I can't wait to move out
Is Living in Orange County really worth the hype?

Here's a few more that I was too lazy to add with links:

"Hello, info on LA suburbs please... I would like to live in a white area..."
"Why does LA have such a bad gang problem?";
"Get out if you can";
"Has LA become part of Mexico?";
"You will never own a home in LA";
"10 kids!!!!";
"Don't come to LA unless you have a couple million $$$ in your bank account";
"How do the middle class survive in socal"
"Thinking of moving here, you may want to reconsider";

Along the same lines of what Charles said, natives really have way less motivation to get on a forum and look up information about where they've lived their whole life. I did not even discover city-data until we started to contemplate a move.

All you've said is true. I didn't think of it that way, but yeah, I used the Tampa and Miami forums to decide where to vacation.

Implants? That's what those doctors out in LA do don't they? Transplants...

Anyway, I was born and raised in Huntsville. My family roots in this area go pretty deep, probably 150 years. I lived out of state for about 10 years after college graduation (including dirty old Los Angeles for a year) and returned here in 2006. I wish there were more locals like myself on here. As some of you may have noticed on other threads I am constantly annoyed with people who make generalized comments about things they know very little about. Like a two year resident of Madison saying something like, "Huntsville City Schools are all terrible." So, I do my best to be the native Huntsvillian who can give an honest and knowledgeable opinion about the area. I know this town backwards and forwards. I welcome newcomers and strive to give you all first-hand knowledge of the area, not heresay.

I prefer natives to implants.

However, I do appreciate the benefits of implants: the added quantity and balance that implants may provide, plus the confidence and esteem to meet business and societal ideals. There may be new opportunities that arise because of implants, and increased self-assuredness to take advantage of those opportunities.

I've noticed that certain restaurants / bars are gathering places for implants, so I like to people watch at those places. Same thing for beaches, if a beach is known for the number and diversity of implants, I'm sure that I would enjoy vacationing there.

But still, there is an authenticity to natives that I find appealing...

Wow, this gives so much background for your other posts. It makes so much sense (in a good way). I wonder when implants turn into natives? My family has been in Huntsville for 25 years.
