Question Hair Salon

Hello,
Can anyone give me a name of a good hairdresser and or hair salon. I have recently moved from Detroit, MI and I need to get my hair done.

Try Valerie at Salon Philos, Downtown Huntsville. She is really great.

Hi...I'm new to the area, but decided to try Ulta in Bridge Street. There's an Ulta in Tuscaloosa where I'm originally from and I always heard good things from friends and family. I found them to be okay on price for a haircut and the girls there seem very friendly and accommodating. Good luck to you and if you find any other places feel free to share with us.

To get anything close to those Detriot hairstyles you might have to go to Birmingham.

I have been going to DanTera on 72. I have been really happy with the service and stylist. I do think they are a bit expensive though. I don't know what you are looking for but I get partial highlights(2 colors)and I have a bob stacked in the back. Last time it was $115.00. I'm going to see if I can find someplace a little cheaper. I have been to larger fancier salons and have had the same thing done and it was under $100.00. If you are just looking for a cut you may want to check them out. It is an Aveda salon.

Moving to Decatur - SOON! Hurray! Anyhow, I am looking for a good hairstylist (color/cut) in the Decatur area. I would like to be able to pay less than $100 for a cut and simple highlights - BUT will consider more if I can find an awesome stylist. Doesn't have to be too trendy a place - just want a good cut and color.

Any help is appreciated!
