Nothing better than a Cheese Omelet and hash browns scattered smothered and covered, toasted with extra grape jelly and coffee.

We just moved to Hartselle, DH works in Decatur and every other week picks up biscuits for the employees. Where is a good place to pick up a bag of sausage/steak/chicken/ham or whatever biscuits around here? Want 'em good, but not too awful pricey. Like I said, we just moved, but it looks like most places y'all are talking about are closer to Huntsville, so any help closer to me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I've heard good things about Lulu's on Capshaw in Limestone, between Mooresville and Lindsay Lane.
Ihop - I like it and Denny's much more than Cracker Barrel. I just don't like Cracker Barrel.

I'm from New Jersey. Okay. You can stop snickering now. I was in Opelika, Alabama many years ago and I don't remember the name of the greasy spoon that I ate at, but it was a fantastic breakfast. It was my first time having grits with butter and salt along with a country fried chicken steak to compliment my eggs over easy. This was one of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten as we don't really do grits and chicken fried steak up north or at least it's very difficult to find. Anyway, that's my 2 cents to this thread.

I had breakfast at the Blue Plate this morning. It was delicious! I was surprised how busy it was at 10:00 on a Saturday morning. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Well worth it, however

Should that be Pepper Road instead of Capshaw? Capshaw ends at Mooresville.

Hard to beat Cracker Barrel for a plate of vegetables...awesome French toast...but somehow their sausage doesn't set well with my stomach.
