I guess I'll just flip a coin. If you go to Mentone, where do you want to "come out on the big roads?"

Adairsville, GA on I-75 is the way i go.
Huntsville - Scottsboro, Turn on the road to Ft Payne south, cross bridge - turn left immediately after you cross the bridge. Follow this road over I-59 and turn right at the stop light and then another left (road just zig zags - you are on the same road). Follow this road through Mentone, Al, Menlo, GA (it will zig zag again - go right at the shopping center in Menlo) Follow this road - will turn into 4 lane til you see the signs for I-75/Adairsville. If you mess up and keep going straight - you will go to Rome, GA and its kinda traffic-y to me...

Ok, sorry if this comes off as weird.
If any of you who travel that way (to, around or through) Macon, GA have a weekend trip coming up soon and would be willing to take a passenger, please send me a DM.
I need to go pick up my second vehicle.
I'll split the gas and buy lunch along the way. I just need to get within 30 or so miles of Macon/Forsyth.
Otherwise, I'll have to take off work for a long bus ride or pay through the nose for a flight to ATL and a bus shuttle to the Macon area.
I figured I'd ask. It's worth a shot.
I'll be quiet on the trip, or I can tell war stories to keep you entertained. I don't take up much room and lest you think I'm a nut, I'll provide ID, etc. Oh, I won't sing or complain about your music...
Let me know. Looking to go on a Friday night or Saturday morning.

You can also do a one-way rental car. Sometimes the drop charges are not bad, it just depends on where they are looking to move cars.
