I'm curious what is going to be in the new Publix shopping center. I think the only thing I've seen is a nail shop

Since Publix was the driving force, you'll see restrictions on what is allowed. A typical Publix strip mall has a restaurant or two, tax prep place, a bank (already there on the outparcel), and stores that don't compete with Publix product sales - cellphone store, bbq supplies, and the like. IMO, they overbuilt by at least a couple of years, so I would expect to see vacant shops for a while.

I expected a Chinese restaurant, maybe a pizza place or a 5 Guys.

Cellphone - yep, makes sense.

Maybe a Hibbetts?

Pet Depot, deli, dentist, a Cost Cutters, a Chinese restaurant, and a dry cleaner, along with the nail salon you mentioned. That's all I've heard about.

Thanks James. I figured that most Publix have at least one Chinese place, and the one on County Line doesn't - so it figured logical.

Almost all Publix also have a small pharmacy (the kind that don't sell a whole lot more than pharmaceuticals, toiletries, magazines, and the like, aka Walgreen's). The newer ones have had Rite-Aids as opposed to Eckerd's.
