Priceville has not changed too much over the years, other than alittle mild growth. I dont know how long you've been gone but they have a fully staffed fire dept. Police Dept.and several new subdivisions. The roads area all in graet shape ,the people are kind and quite. Every things close to priceville, schools, shopping, hospitals and the river walk marina. a great new park for fun and family and plenty docking for boats of all sizes. WE even have several family festivals at the river every year through out the summer and the Holidays season. About the only thing you want find here are those beautiful Pontchatoula strawberries, or the mysterious antiques stores that line main street and of course there is no big bad alligators hanging out by the railroad tracks, But theres enough to keep you busy around Decatur, priceville, and Huntsville. Of course you can have them strawberries shipped up here.for us all to enjoy.

I think its a wonderful area, you'll be very satified

Thanks Rick

I can't figure out how to post a new thread. This isn't a reply but:
My husband and I are getting close to retirement and I am looking for a place that temperature wise is cooler than Orlando, FL, and small but not out in the boonies. My husband is very much into bass fishing and I need high speed internet and close proximity to an LDS library. Priceville sounds like the right size city and seems to have the climate I want. Would it meet our other requirements too? Also, is housing very expensive? Diane

Default Huntsville is nice

I am retiring and I have been looking at Huntsville. It looks nice for retirement and the real Estate prices are right. I am retiring from Houston, TX
