Harvest-Toney
I have a family member who lives in Toney. I go visit her frequently duing A&M games. Everytime I go, there is something different and new. In 2007, I went there and I saw a sign that said Publix. Came in 2008, and the shopping center was finished, and they were building on a new sudivison off Jeff Road N called Belmont Farms. These houses look like houses in Columbus, Ohio.
Houses in this area tend to be inexpensive. You can find an 80,000-120,000 new 2 story house in a nice subdivision like Carillo Bay and Belmont Farms. Highway 53 is about to be widened. The new Publis shopping center will bring some new growth including more housing and retail to the area. Will this area become Huntsville's next big thing?

Probably more like one of many small things.

Looking at a map (and I am not familiar with any of these places) it looks like there are communities that can blossom all over the place: Moores Mill, New Market, Hazel Green, a bunch of little intersections outside of Madison, little places west of Madison, and north of Huntsville....lots of little things.
A few subdivisions isn't really a big thing. A community at a rural highway intersection isn't a big thing. A supermarket anchoring a few stores isn't a big thing.

Have anyone noticed a plethora of African Americans in this part of Madison County?

I don't know what your definition of "plethora" is, but I'd say no. Most of the county has a plethora of European Americans. But it's probably fairly reflective of the national average of about 13%.

That's right, they told me that also when I moved in the area in July 1990.
I forgot all about it.

Like for real. There are alot of Blacks in this part of Madison County. They live in those new subdivisions along Jeff Road and some along Douglas Road.
