Boston Market already came and went. Why does everyone want chains?

I prefer a locally run restaurant, preferably continental or French cuisine close to Madison (Pauli's doesn't count). But a chain will have greater financial support and has a greater likelihood to survive as a result. The reason I chose CC Factory is it has a huge menu with a large variety of tastes to suit any palette.

And Wegman's is my dream grocery store. Though I doubt they will come here, I will keep trying.

I wanted a BM because it isn't deep fried...but, maybe that's why it didn't do well here.

Cool River Cafe (~ COOL RIVER CAFE ~) would be a huge addition to the Bridge Street project. It was my favorite place to bring clients when managing sales in Dallas (Las Colinas) and Austin.

For the record, I really liked Boston Market, chain or not.

A Rainforest Cafe like the one in Nashville would be nice.

There was a Boston Market in Huntsville before? Where was it located?

Rainforest Cafe®

I've been to the Rainforest Cafe in Orlando a few times. I think it's a cute place and would def stand out in someplace like Huntsville. Haven't tried the one in Nashville yet.

Twas in front of Wal-Mart on University Blvd., across from the old Rosie's location.

It's all we can think of.

I've been to the Cheesecake Factory in Birmingham and wasn't terribly impressed.
Cool River Cafe - looks really nice, but $23.95 for a lunch plate of ribs? Too much competition here charging WAY less.

Well...mentioning chains for the recognition. Earlier in this thread I suggested some private eateries and posted links...but if you've never heard of it, doesn't do much to ring any bells.
