Proposed Street List for Madison City Schools is posted!
The new proposed Street list for Madison City Schools has been posted. There will also be a Town Hall meeting at Bob Jones High School on Thursday, March 12th at 6:00 pm to discuss the rezoning.  The meeting will be held in the Auditorium.

Where will the new Madison high school be built, and what will be the name? Sorry if I'm late on this information.

The new high school will be located on County Line Road. They have the land, but do not have funding in place as of yet. $65,000,000 project, if I remember correctly. I met with the Mayor a couple of weeks ago and they don't have a start date as of yet for the new school. First, they need to find the money to build it! Dr. Fowler, the Superintendent of Madison City Schools, has put together a "Blue Ribbon Committee" to weigh all options as to how to proceed. (The committee is made up of members of the community). The report is supposed to be completed soon. I'm not sure what the name will be.
