A couple more hours and I will wrap in foil and leave on all night. I just put deer on. I am going to wrap it with a small butt to keep it from drying out. After I pull the meat in the morning and season it I will then do the ribs.

At one time, the Whitt's on hwy 99 in Athens was open on Sundays, but only from 12 to 3. I don't know if that is still the case or not. Whitt's is my favorite of the bbq joints. Especially those fresh golden flake chips. However, there is no inside dining so you will have to take your orders somewhere else.

Butts will be ready, but ribs may me close by then. I will give you a better idea by mid morning. I should be good and full by the time I pull all that pork. |
