Default Anyone familiar with Priceville neighborhoods?

We are considering that area, but I was wondering if some of the realtors on the board could give me the scoop on the area. Please send me a message if you know of faulty workmanship, etc. in any of the neighborhoods. Thanks!

Hello,

It really depends on what you are looking for as far as price range. There are some really good neighborhoods in Priceville. There are a mix of the older well established neighborhoods, new construction and then the rural parts with homes on larger lots. It also depends on if you want to actually be located in Priceville city or just the school district, because some areas that are technically Decatur and Somerville are still within the Priceville school district.

Two newer construction neighborhoods that I am familiar with are Churchill Downs and Cobblestone both off 67 in Priceville. I personally have not heard of any faulty workmanship or anything negative in the area but that does not mean it is not present. I highly recommend if you are going with new construction to research the builder as much as possible and have your realtor help you with this.

Hope this helps and if I can help you with anything else please let me know.

My parents live in Cove Creek right off of 67. The neighborhood is right next to Churchill Downs. They really love their house. They were one of the first to build in the neighborhood and have not had any problems with their house. They built back around 2001. The subdivision is very nice. There are a couple of houses that are for sale in the neighborhood. I think the one that I saw yesterday was around $188k. My parents built for $165k. I know the original post was posted a long time ago but in case anyone else runs across the post and wanted any additional information, I thought I'd put in my two cents.
