Anyone here had any experience or know how slow can the process be? Any insights about the process will be kindly appreciated.

Nobody took a stab at this, so here I am: TVA is a government employer. So, it takes the usual route: advertising (with a "closing" day for submissions) for at least few weeks, if not couple months - resume reviewing - 1-2+ interviews - background check - offer- relo (if the case) - Can you see all these happening in less than (at least) 2 months?

Come on, you RSA guys, give the man/woman an insight - think Charles (or HB?) once said it took about 6 months from applying to relo here.

I know coworkers of hubby's landed jobs there, but I only learned after the fact, so I don't exactly how long the process is.

Thanks, friday.
I was previously a fed employee but I got more feedback (where in the process I was standing) with that agency than with TVA. I also googled around and there's not too much public information about TVAs hiring process.

Try the Chattanooga or Knoxville forums. More of TVA's offices are there.

I work for TVA, and the hiring process can be excruciatingly long (3-6months), so don't lose heart just yet.

My husband works for TVA-started last July. From initial contact until start date was 6 months. It was a very long process with not much information in between. He had given up hope many times....but here we are!
