I live in Huntsville and pay property taxes of 0.58% compared to over 1% in Los Angeles County or Ventura County.
I grew up in Canoga Park, at Saticoy and Fallbrook.
I don't know anything about Cornith. I've only been in Huntsville since last August.
Electricity in Huntsville is around 1/3 of LADWP or SCE; we pay about $0.09/kilowatt hour compared to the tiered rates in LA of like $0.15 to $0.25 per kWh. However, electricity is the main energy source in Huntsville including electric dryers and electric water heaters, even electric heat to supplement heat pumps.
