Just understand that living in the County rather than the City is very different. In County Developments building codes are not the same; inspections do not take place near as frequent. Your fire dept may be voluntary. Police dept may be smaller. There are few eyesore laws so that means regardless of an HOA your neighbor could park on the front lawn happens in Limestone County all the time.

You may get more home and land for the money but be sure you understand the County is not like Madison or Huntsville. You have a greater voice in a city development than you do in a County and its representatives.

But you can discharge a firearm on your property in the county.

towne lakes has a pretty lake , but if you buy a home around the lake, people could walk and fish along the trail around the lake , which is your back yard. they have to get a permit , then have the right to fish there and leave garbage where ever they want. so you could have lookers and trash in the back yard.
