Huntsville's 72=Birmingham's 280
From the looks of it, it seems like 72 is turning into another 280. This stretch of roads is one of Huntsville's fastest growing areas. This area boosts a plethora of shopping dining places, houses, apartments, etc. All of these elements result in TRAFFIC. All in all this stretch of road is very similar to 280 in Birmingham.

So?
We all need to shop, eat and live somewhere, don't we?
Why not 72=Mem. Parkway? Don't get your point.

There is shopping and eating everywhere but if i had to say a 280 in huntsville i would say madison blvd due to all the growth in the county line, zeirdt, harves and madison area, but none to the scale of 280.

Real traffic does not exist here--try DC or LA... then complain. Biggest problem here is AJ Foyt wannabes who think they own the road, moms on cell phones, distracted truckers, and seriously bad turn offs.... but congestion? I laugh whenever I hear bout the BAD roads in Madison... just try the Capital Beltway, I66 ANYTIME, and I95... now that is traffic. And one hasn't experienced blechy traffic till one has tried to park in Home Depot's parking lot on a Sat. and failed hour after hour.
Traffic? We don't have no stinkin' traffic in Madison....

ATL drove me nuts and I wasn't even the one driving. I can't imagine in a bigger city like DC or LA.

Yeah I agree 72 sure isn't a 280 but Madison Blvd definitely isn't I lived over there and always had to drive elsewhere.
