Somerville is too close to Huntsville to not have anything to do. also Decatur is only 20 min away. There is many things in Decatur and Hunstville to do Shopping Malls, Theaters even a local sympony orchasture. not to mention all the parks and rec areas and concerts in the park in down town Huntsville, then there is river walk marina in Decatur with something planned almost every weekend and don't forget the Huntsville Stars minor league baseball team plays regularly at the Joe Davis Stadium which is next door to an olympic size indoor Ice Skate Rink open year round and just down the street from there is Southern Adventures Park with all sorts of rides for childeren and adults alike. and if your coming in September, the huge North Alabama State fair will be in town and when the time is up for that it moves west to Decatur so you would get to enjoy it all over again. Theres probably more to do here than you will have time to. Come on Over you'll Love it
