Anyone know if any decent restaurants in HSV that are open on Christmas or Christmas Eve? Still in chaos moving in here, and we don't celebrate Christmas but I still thought it would be fun to get away from the cardboard and bubble wrap go tonight or tomorrow night and maybe drive through the Botanical Garden light show (some folks from the temple and synagogue often volunteer to manage it that night, I've heard) and out to dinner (if there are any restaurants open.)

I called around for notime362 who is here looking for a home. I ended up calling the tourist board (I think that was it) and they told me they only knew of 2 places open for Christmas dinner

Denny's is suppose to be open in the afternoon.

Embassy Suites has a restaurant that will be open

Movies are open. We celebrated Cristmas all day yesterday and the wife and I are spending the day together. We had a big breakfast and headed to the new theater on Research Park Blvd. The Monaco to see National treasure. Maybe have popcorn for a mid day snack and head to Denny's for early supper or come home for left overs.
