Default Layoffs at LGE in Alabama

Does anybody know if there have been layoffs at Lge Electronics in Huntsville Alabama?

HAven't seen anything in the paper lately, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did lay off. Manufacturing base in Hsv is shaking.
Other posters have said it before, there are other/plenty manufacturing enterprises in North AL (Decatur) doing ok. As if that brings any comfort to the people already laid off.
We may be at the begining of a downturn trend in the area's manufacturing and we'll only know it next year, whenever the official statistics come out. I was reading a title in the online papers over the weekend: "3 Sock factories go south, literaly, to Mexico" (didn't read much of the article, but Im thinking Fort Payne got hit)
Maybe one of the (present/former) LG employees can give us a sure answer, and not speculations.

Agree with you on the Manufacturing Meltdown. Hope your right and someone gives us insight about Lge and not just speculations. Thanks for the reply.
