The Clandestine Service is looking for U.S. citizen candidates to fill Paramilitary Operations Officer and Specialized Skills Officer positions. Paramilitary Operations Officers and Specialized Skills Officers serve both at our Headquarters in Washington DC and overseas. Qualified candidates can expect to focus on intelligence operations and activities for U.S. policymakers in hazardous and austere overseas environments. A number of qualified Paramilitary Operations Officer candidates are trained in the Clandestine Service Trainee (CST) Program. Specialized Skills Officers support a wide variety of activities.

Minimum requirements for Paramilitary Operations Officers include a bachelor's degree and military special operations or combat arms experience (ground, air, or maritime). Previous foreign travel, combat service, and foreign language proficiency is highly valued. For Specialized Skills Officers, minimum requirements also include a bachelor's degree. A background in aviation, maritime experience, military psychological warfare operations, information operations, communications, business, and counterintelligence are preferred. The 35-year maximum age requirement could be waived on a case-by-case basis.

All applicants must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview and an extensive background investigation. US citizenship is required.

To be considered suitable for Agency employment, applicants must generally not have used illegal drugs within the last twelve months. The issue of illegal drug use prior to twelve months ago is carefully evaluated during the medical and security processing.

The Senior Analyst will function as the technical lead for Combat Development analysis and systems engineering activities for medium-scale projects. The selected candidate will implement strategic technical direction and will lead the efforts of other team members. Oversees the preparation, presentation and follow-up of major projects. Total system products may include concept design, CDD and programmatic development, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Regularly interacts with management and government leads on matters concerning projects and/or customers. The selected candidate must currently possess a Top Secret Security Clearance. (SCI highly preferred)

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required. An additional 4+ years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
10-12+ years of related experience, of which five years preferred experience at the Joint level. Software Development experience is required. Preferred experience in JCIDS and the DoD acquisition environment. Has the ability to complete complex and difficult assignments. Proficient in brigade and military operations, JCIDS, the DoD acquisition environment and future ground force technologies. Field Grade Army Military experience is preferred. Experience in the Space Domain preferred.

Senior Military Analyst working as the team leader for a contractor team conducting staff analysis and coordination in support of command issues and staff actions for the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Alabama.

Advises the Commanding General and provides assessments of strategy, policy, coordination, and integration of the Command's mission areas of Space; integrated missile defense; Information Operations; command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance; and global strike.

Interfaces with key staff and subordinate commands of MDA, JTAMDO, STRATCOM Headquarters and Joint Functional Component Commands (ISR, GLOBAL STRIKE, WMD, Space and Net Warfare), COCOMs, Joint Staff and Dept of Army staff, Missile Defense system PEO and PMs.

Prepares articles, speeches, and briefings in support of the CG, SMDC. Prepares draft articles for publication in national and international publications, journals, and the command newspaper and journal. Responsible for developing multi-media presentations which articulate the command's intent and or position on issues concerning space and air and missile defense support to homeland security and to Joint Combatant Commanders.

Coordinates with DoD agencies, other Army MACOMs, Army Staff, Joint Staff, and other military services for all products and services provided to the command.

Position requires the ability to travel to support coordination and conduct of multi media presentations. Desire a former brigade commander with missile defense and/or space background. Must be proficient using Microsoft products especially, Word and PowerPoint.
