Hopefully my last question.
I can't decide if I should stay here and "keep my affairs in order" or if I should go down with hubby. I really, really want to get down there. When I was there I didn't want to leave, thats how much I liked it. But, and this is a big BUT...it may be quite a strain on us financially making a house payment and a payment on like say, an apartment or something at the same time. I also hate the thought of the family being apart. I welcome thoughts, opinions and experiences as always.

I think it all depends on your personal situation. Can you afford to reduce your home until it sells? If you can, I personally would do that. Take the hit now, and begin fresh with my family. It's tough to be away from our family for a long period of time, but many have done it and handled it well...I really think it has to be something you feel confident you can handle.
If the company is willing to pay for your stay at a hotel, would they consider an apartment? I would guess it would be close to the same cost?

We are going to check into that. I actually think it would be cheaper to pay for an apartment than a hotel.

Well, even if you stay where you are, your husband will still have to pay rent here, right? So you will be "making a house payment and a payment on like say, an apartment or something at the same time" anyway.
You cannot let your husband live on street just because he does not have the family with him.

Good point! I agree wholeheartedly. I don't care if I have to live in a box. I decided to keep the family together.

Well... I was going to suggest webcam, plus this device I am about to invent. Needless to say, it involves analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversions.....
But I am glad that you've made a decision. This time... please STICK WITH IT !!
Happy relocating. Welcome to Huntsville.

I have one regret about moving to Huntsville at the end of 2007. I regret not moving sooner.
