LoL, not bashing SB but want to ensure readers understand that areas like SB require buyers to have a full understanding of what they are getting into when it comes to living in a County Development. This is not a consumer complaint thread but more so, one that educates the reader on what happens in such developments.
Many times sales agents will not tell you everything and so buyers simply have no clue on what protections they do not have in a County area such as SB. SB is in District 2 of Limestone County, the fastest growing District with lots of money coming in but so little of it goes back to the same District. Buyers think that $400K house comes with the same protections as a city area with rules that can even override an HOA. Next thing the buyer finds out is what we have seen in SB... Lesson is, that savings fo $40K for the same house in Hampton Cove for $450K is not truly worth it. If I did it all over again, I would have bought in HC or simular area, got the same house for a little more $$ and less land.
