I just went to Kari at Dan Terra on 72. Best cut I've had in quite some time. Finally! She charged $48 for the cut. I get "foiled" next month, so no clue how her color is yet. I initially called for another stylist that was recommended only to find out she was no longer there. Luckily, it all worked out Good luck in your search!

Gee, HB you're spending too much with Charles - are you too planning another CD 3-day getaway?

I have used Paula at Salon Allure on Royal (right by Parkway Place) for a couple of years and LOVE her. She was referred to me by several different people and she is the best I have ever used. She does the BEST color/highlights, they last so much longer than my last stylist. The atmosphere is also very fun, I always look forward to going because I know it is going to be FUN with lots of laughs.
Paula also is the owner of the new Salon Professional Academy on University. Here is their website:
www.salonallurehuntsville.com. She has a HUGE client list, so it may take you several weeks to get in with her for more than a cut/style. I book all my appointments for the year at once, and she sends me email reminders.

In Madison my favorite place is Millidine's. My daughter and many freinds also go there. I've never heard of anyone having a complaint. They are not the least expensive, but even as poor as I am, a few extra dollars is worth it for me to know I will not be dissappointed.

Because I rarely make appts. very far in advance of desperation, I don't always get my favorite stylist, Kallie. But, no matter who I see, I've never had a bad experience. Since they opened some ~5 years ago, only one time I was not happy, but it was my own fault for being iffy about what I wanted. When I made an appt to have my color redone, acknowledging it was my fault, not the stylists, they still didn't charge me for the re-visit.
