NoVA/DC area 9 yrs
now in AL
Want to retire in Orlando area for the weather, the fun, and the international airport so I can visit friends in Netherlands and Canada and all over States.

My parents had a house in Altamonte Springs and the traffic was always bad. Every time I drive there to check on it whether from Boca Raton or from up here , the traffic is terrible. However, my parents loved it. As I have stated, no perfect place.

After DC, traffic in Orlando is a snap--we'd live outside -- perhaps north--but for now, that's my leading candidate. I don't mind traffic if I have amenities to go with it.
