I am a "rare" female engineer and never in my life felt the urge to buy a Kate Spade purse...not even the extremely accurate Chinatown copies.
I did buy some Juicy Jeans eons ago but gave up on them after getting tired of showing my buttcrack.
BTW, from Brigde St. I really liked The Apple Store, going to Monaco and Maggie Moos.

Yes, I'm for real. Let me go head and spill the beans. I'm fairly young; I'm probably the youngest on here (Huntsville's forum). I know that my dreams and opinions don't agree with you all, but you always have look at my age. I'm 17+. I truly think BridgeStreet is a nice addition to Huntsville and to Alabama. I makes me happy to see some Hollywood shopping in a state that's always in the negatives. It rends my heart when I hear people bash out Alabama because it's country. I'm makes me feel good when people from California, New York, DC, and other big places move to little ol country BAMA. We, as, citizens of this great state need to work together and help Alabama grow. It just burns me up when people oppose developments!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My dreams are to become a civil engineer and a construction developer. I will get all what you guys are saying in the future, but now, I'm just so hurt at Alabama's state right now. People talk down on it. I live here, and when people say something about where I live, I get mad. I get goosebumps just looking at something getting built because it's one step closer from Alabama not being as country to out siders. I want people to come to Alabama and be in shock when they see that Alabama isn't as bad as it seems. I see places like South Carolins who is similar to Alabama and is growing faster than us. WHY? Y'all's disrespect and rudeness toward me encourage to do something big for the state that I love. I want people to enjoy Alabama. I want Alabama to have the things that Georgia. I want Alabama to finally be bigger than Metro Atlanta. I want to give back to Alabama and give Alabama something that it never had before. I pray for Alabama, especially for Huntsville, almost more than myself. It's sad that Madison County is gaining more people than Birmingham's Metro. Birmingham needs to be growing on the scale to Nashville and to a smarter extent of Charlotte. Alabama is too gifted to lack behind several states in several cateogories. Don't we get tired of being neck and neck with Mississippi in negativity?????? With the help of Bridgestreet, Huntsville, Alabama's beaches, and other places in Alabama, people won't think of Alabama as a Redneck country; Alabama has a plethora amount of blacks as well.

I encourage growth. I'm saddened that Ketchup and Kate Spade are closing. Besides, there are other people beside engineers. There are regular people who like to shop. I just wish that when and if the large shopping centers get built in Huntsville, I hope that the developers consider stores that are new to Huntsville and will do great here. They need to also bring in stores that Huntsville needs 2 of. Couldn't we stand to have at least 2 more Old Navys or at least 1 more Gap? Couln't we stand to have some successful mid to upscale stores in Madison Square and other new locations??? You guys, I get it! Can y'all get me instead of making me feel bad. My intent is to hope that Alabama grows and emerge from its reputation.

So...today I learn that the great savior of Bama's reputation will be either 2 more Old Navys...or at least 1 more Gap...I swear, this is beyond random and hilarious and wrong...all at the same time...
