That maybe true, it is hard to say.

I live in the Blossomwood/HMS/HHS district. I know if I had a chance to live in NE Huntsville in the Chapman/Lee district (2 miles from where I currently live) but send my kids to Blossomwood, I would. The houses are literally about 1/2 the price and there are some really nice properties in that area.

Here are the Huntsville high school boundary maps for a visual aid on this thread.

Interesting how Columbia High School's zone goes all the way out to the 65.

And also how the Columbia HS zone goes West into Limestone County to take in all those annexed areas. I'm guessing that would take a good 20-30 minutes to drive in morning traffic to Columbia HS if you were a teen living in those Limestone County (but Huntsville City) neighborhoods.

I suppose HSV wanted to open up the western side of the city limits to growth and they needed to attempt to "fix" the school zone problems.

For one kid that may be a good idea (my parents did that)..

Canoga Park High School? Yeah, probably. That is if I first didn't end up on coke and drop out like all my neighborhood friends did.

Come on, Charles, that's macabre mathematics:
There are 12 Asian students for 1.93% of student population. That if The Thing is not Asian and enrolled at Butler, otherwise you'd be correct: 12.4 students.
