Default electrician in hampton cove

I need an electrician, does anyone know of a good one?

What I need done isn't too complex(I think). I have a Viking fridge and the outlet wiring needs to be moved to an empty breaker rather than being with other outlets(I have existing empties). Right now I can't use the other outlets without having to reset the breaker or the ground fault, very frustrating.

I also would like to know if it is possible to add a light fixture in the garage entry hall(it may not be possible and why I don't have one already). The big thing is the fridge.

Thanks for any info!!

Anyone????

Handyman that does electrical work?

I come from a construction family so I am not that picky(just like the messy housekeeper, builders tend to be less meticulous with their own homes).

Don't know if this helps, but I saw on TV that there's a service called "House Doctors" locally. It's a handy-man service ranging from plumbing to electrical. It maybe worthwhile to give them a call for them to come out and give you a quote.

I had a bad experience with them, which started with them refusing to come out to give a free quote and it went down hill from there. Of course just one experience is not neccessarily indicative of poor service all the time. But for as long as they've been around now, I have to wonder why I never hear of them being recomended.

Sorry, I can't offer an electrician recomendation. You might want to try calling the house inspectors recomended in another post, they know whose work they do and don't find problems with.

I've had clients use Mr. Electric before. I've also seen their bright yellow van in my subdivision more than once...google them for complaints and check the BBB also. You just never know

I had to have a simple electrical item fixed prior to closing on a home I was selling. Mr Electric Gave a quote of $1250. I chose a few random electricians our of the phone book to also run quotes. I ended up having R&S Electric do the work, and they only charged $310 for the exact same job. The two guys that did the work were very professional and did an excellent job. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Good info. I want to hang a few extra recess lights and under-cabinet lights as well. I'll give R&S a call. Are they in the yellowpages?

OUCH! That's a huge difference. I'll make a note of that for future reference! Good to know.
