My son wants to go out for sushi for his bday tonight. I was looking at Scene Lounge and Surin in Madison, and Surin's prices look much cheaper, but Scene looks like a lot more fun to go to...Anyone have any suggestions? Is there anywhere to go that is fun looking, busy, and not too expensive? (And by the way, when he said "fun" he gave The Cheesecake Factory as an example...so anything comparable to that type of atmosphere?) Thanks!

I like I Love Sushi on Cecil Ashburn. I'm not sure where you'd get sushi that has an atmosphere like the Cheesecake Factory with singing waiters and such.

Don't know where you live but Sakura on Countyline road (just south of 72) is a *fun* sushi place. They have upscale decor, a separate section for that Bennie-Hanna chef show off thing, and some not so traditional *asian-fusion* design of sushi.
