Until Airtran has a flight out of Huntsville to somewhere I actually need to go, I'll continue to fly out of Nashville. I used to drive to Atlanta to fly airtran but I moved further from Atlanta and am closer to Nashville. Huntsville could have been a hub for United several yrs ago and that would really have lowered rates across the board with all airlines. It was almost a done deal and then Huntsville Airport Authority got greedy and decided to stick more fees on United at the last moment and United pulled out. I certainly wish Hsv would offer some lower rates to where I need to go, it would make life easier.

I just flew Airtran today to Orlando. Plane wasn't full, but there were several travelers. I thought it was a great flight and crew. I'll use them anytime I can

So what's the latest with AirTran? Are the planes filling up? Hope Southwest can see that Huntsville is a market they need to be in.

Me too! Honestly, I can't see them staying in our market with B'ham and Nashville being so close, but I PRAY they do. We really need them! Fingers are crossed!
