Hey,

So as some of you know I have been in HSV all week house hunting and training for my new job. Today is my last day and I need to get a gift for my neighbor who is watching my dog. His request was for nuts. So I am wondering if there are any places to go to with good nuts around. Pecans, walnuts, peanuts, candied nuts... I don't really care what it is but I have no idea where to find them.

Please let me know I have to be to the airport by 2:30pm

Thank you!!

Probably EarthFare or Fresh Market - just because they have a good selection. Your neighbor was probably thinking something local (GA pecan, AL peanuts?), these are chains, but they have a good selection so you don't leave empty-handed.

Over here on the Arsenal we purchase our nuts from vending machines.

We have a great selection. Planters or Corn Nuts.

Go on the web and order GA pecans right from the growers. Those are usually fresher or kept fresher than ones you get at a supermarket. They will ship right to your neighbor's house. Wish I could remember who I have used but I remember I just googled and called one and the grower's wife answered and took my order. Was very happy with it all.

Hi All
Thanks, The Pecanco would have been perfect! but because I was short on time...so I thought until my flight kept being delayed, I ended up going to fresh market and can I tell yall I have NEVER seen such a selection of snacks!!!! Everything in bulk! I ended up with green bean and okra chips(not delicious) bourbon candied pecans (fantastic), a standard nut mix and 3 orange slices for myself. I will be back to that store, unless I am on a diet
