Once again just a note to get this going, early models indicate this could be a fun one to track.

But at the moment its only yellow on the NHC website, and as you seen with Bonnie, anything can happen!

It's only fun if it doesn't come where you live

Quite true, although I don't wish any damage or loss of lives onto anyone I always hope when there is a big system, it turns out to be a fish.

Last year was just shocking to track storms, great if you lived in a hurricane prone area!

I do live in a hurricane prone area so I am always tracking them. I've been in two and it's not fun.

I've been in 2 (I only remember 1 though) and it was cool but scary, the constant threat of Tornadoes and things wildly blowing around outside, the next day there were so much Palm tree leaves in the streets. The East side of the storm is usually the worst part. It spoiled one day while we were on vacation in Orlando.

Hurricane Floyd & Hurricane Dennis.

I track storms every now and then too but it's no fun since none of them come here, remnants are more common than TD's, TS's, & H's.

Yes it's VERY scary. I was in East Texas at my mothers when Rita hit in 2005, we heard things hitting the house for hours and could feel the house shaking. A 110 foot tall pine tree fell and graze the house!
