I don't look forward to Hurricane Season, after going through Andrew (Cat 5) I never want to go through another hurricane. Hurricane Season is also the worst time of year in Miami temperature wise, so I don't look forward to it.

The hurricane Andrew was frightening, but after the storm I found more friends than I have in any other year. It seems like the destruction brings people together, and helps show the folly of materialism. The next hurricane will be worse, given the insurance situation. but I can always see the positive side of a hurricane's destruction.

I confess, I do like watching the hurricane hunters out and about when there's a storm coming. As long as it isn't coming my way, that is. And of course, if one is headed your way, then you definitely want Anderson Cooper to come to YOUR town since he usually manages to miss the area where the storm finally hits land

I think they are interesting, perhaps some morbid fascination. Not that I *hope* for them (as if that would make a difference) I just view them as they come.

I also work in the insurance industry (although not homeowners etc.) so it generally always sets off a tizzy of activity that is interesting to watch and hear about.
