It looks to be a very powerful storm, but all models take it well south of Florida. However, it is STILL very early, that could change. It is very unusual for a storm this far out to be this strong. However, once again, all models take it well south of Florida.

Looks like another Gulf Coast threat. I hope it doesn't get as bad as a cat 4 or 5 with the warm water temperatures. At least here in Florida, it looks like it will stay way to the west and miss us.

People need to remember hitting the Texas and or Louisiana coast will effect gas prices. Refineries are there.

I live in San Antonio, Texas and we were just flooded by Tropical Storm Erin, so if Dean comes this way, we are in trouble!
