Now to Interrupt your facts with living...
Currently, Here in Aurora, ME, 60F, Dewpoint 51F, NNW 4MPH..Cloudy..

Walked the Meadows today and enjoyed it's fragrance and brilliant change of colors...visited the Beaver Pond up the little creek that runs through our property and divides the Meadows from the Woods (and noticed some trout fry jumping out of what once was the Lower Pond, before last year's deluge ((September 30, 2015))! Upon closer inspection, we detected a larger Beavers' Lodge and fortified Dam..We then, traversed the Blueberry Barrens whose change of color also reflected the change of season...Hand-in-hand we walked....Admiring the beauty around and beneath our feet only to return home to feast upon a Pork Roast baked in fruit cocktail, onions, coconut oil, brown sugar, cinnamon and new potatoes....
Let the Autumn Feasting begin!!!

11pm advisory cone looks scary but you have to put it into perspective with the models which show end of that cone currently is also where it may start to hook back out, and as a weaker storm than now. Highly subject to change, I think we'll know more Tuesday going into Wednesday. Plenty of time before any potential US impacts late this week/weekend. Also that 'cone' is only showing the potential for the center of the storm location in time, nothing else and as was mentioned by Cambium highly dependent on multiple factors of other weather systems.

Cuba/Jamaica doesn't need this either...
East coast will get to feel it too...

Matthew one of the most powerful Atlantic hurricanes in recent history - briefly reached maximum Category 5 status Friday. Strongest Atlantic hurricane in almost a decade.

Nope unfortunately there will be lots of loss of life I bet. Many people in Haiti probably don't even know it is en route

Tried to take a break from all this but when your soul has a passion for weather and stuff, it just keeps drawing you back in.

Check out a buoy right in its path.. Winds stronger, stronger, stronger up to 80mph then.......... calmness... a breeze only....the eye is crossing over.... then .... winds back to 80mph on the other side of the eye. CRAZY cool to see.

Pick a line... These are all the Euro Ensemble members possible tracks.. This is why we get a "mean" track but you can obviously see each member has a different path that possible.

Each path has implications on the path north of there of course.

Great Site. (EE = Euro Ensembles)

BTW - Euro overnight shifted west. GFS hits New England. Canadian shifted west but furthest off shore. I'm not gonna get too crazy about what happens past the Carolinas yet.

Yep, models have shifted more west uncomfortably close to the US East coast.

Likely to shift again, I think we'll know more Tuesday or Wednesday hopefully.

What I said... Why spend your time focusing on the Northeast 1 week away when its unknown what will happen in the Southeast 3 days away?
