There's this thing called the weather channel! You can watch weather reports. I also love watching weather reports. CNN/cable news doesn't' need to cover this non stop.

Kind of interesting that for some people, the fact that the winds will not be as bad as previously expected, is a reason to be upset. I feel grateful for any easing of the situation for the people in the storm path; not upset about it.

As far as the forecasting; Mother Nature does not always adhere to a strict schedule when it comes to hurricanes. In 2004, Charley spun up from 110 mph to 145 mph in approximately three hours, shortly before hitting land. .

300 Weather Channel newscasters swept out to sea. What a headline that would make. You'll get better coverage from Youtube form locals reporting from their front porches.
