15Oct18 2aPDT/4aCDT/5aEDT: Tropical Depression 22E (TD22E) became Tropical Storm Tara S of the Mexico coast with estimated winds 40mph(65km/h), movement stationary, pressure 1003mb and Tropical Storm Watches were issued for portions of the Mexico coast early that Monday morning 15Oct18.
Tara meandered/wobbled around but generally headed NW then NNW and finally neared Manzanillo and Puerto Vallarta Mexico region weakening to a Tropical Depression Tuesday afternoon 16Oct18 with winds of just 35mph as it neared land.
Tara peaked at 65mph(100km/h) winds late Monday evening into early Tuesday and officially dissipated later Tuesday 16Oct18 with the 8pPDT/10pCDT/11pEDT advisory. An archive of previous advisories can be found here:
