Anthony, I was wondering where you were. What you just posted sounds horrible for NO for sure.

We have people already here in shelters at Tupelo, I figured most would be from the MS coast, but there are people from LA as well.

I'm glad so many left, but Jim Cantori is in Homa LA and there are people riding out the storm in 4 boats, with their kids! no less.

Please put these people in your prayers, these kids are a concern to me...

That is just crazi aiangel, I was down in Port Isabel for Hurricane Dolly. I understand there were people riding out the storm in boats there too. Completely idiotic.

You're kidding!!! That is just awful! Those little kids have no way of making a decision to get out of there. I'm sorry, but those parents have no right to keep their children if they don't have enough sense to get them out of there KNOWING what can happen. Wonder if emergency workers will have to lose their lives trying to rescue people who are negligent or think they are strong enough to brave something like that.

They did mention that those ppl on the boat rode out Katrina and Rita. So if they survived those, I guess they figure they will survive this as well.
